Registration for continuing students
Please select the month you plan to start your courses from the options above. Once selected, you’ll see the recommended courses for that start date. Review the suggested courses carefully to ensure they align with your goals.
When you're ready, follow the instructions to register and secure your spot.
If a course is not offered in the session you expected, do not substitute another course without first checking your handbook or contacting graduate advising.
Tips before you register
- Sign in to My ASU and review your registration date.
- Complete or resolve any Priority Tasks and registration holds.
- Review the ASU academic calendar for registration, drop, add and withdrawal deadlines.
- Review your program handbook and degree requirements.
- Check your ASU email for instructions from New College Graduate Student Services.
- Confirm whether any course requires instructor, faculty or advising approval.
Online courses may be offered in Session A, Session B or another designated session. Registration, drop, add and withdrawal deadlines differ by session.

- Review the applicable academic calendar deadline.
- Review your program handbook and recommended course sequence.
- Consider how the change may affect your expected graduation date.
- Contact Financial Aid and Scholarship Services if you have questions about financial aid.
- Contact online graduate advising if you are uncertain about the academic impact.
Many online graduate programs follow a defined sequence. Dropping, withdrawing from or postponing a course may delay access to a later course or change your anticipated graduation semester.
