Glushko Thesis Prize for Excellence in Cognitive Science

Advancing Cognitive Science

The Glushko Thesis Prize is awarded annually to the two ASU undergraduate theses that most advance cognitive science. Students in any degree program at any campus are eligible. Winners of the Glushko Thesis Prize receive a certificate, a $250 prize, and are eligible to wear an award stole at their commencement ceremony.

This prize is supported by a generous donation from Robert J. Glushko, Professor of Cognitive Science at the University of California, Berkeley

Nomination Process

Thesis advisors or readers can nominate a student for the award by submitting a nomination letter and a copy of the thesis to the Cognition, Behavior, and Information faculty at cogsci@asu.edu by April 19, 2024. The nomination letter should describe the significance and impact of the thesis for the cognitive science community.
