Training in Genomics Research program

The Training in Genomics Research (TiGeR) program is focused on training students in the scientific workforce with an undergraduate or graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution in computer science, mathematics, statistics or similar fields with limited or no previous experience working with genomics datasets.

The program is designed to support qualifying Biological Data Science graduate students to integrate intensive in-person hands-on exposure to genomics datasets and bioinformatic tool sets, as well as mentored research experiences. The TiGeR program will prepare its students for successful careers as computational experts in genomics research.

Applications for the Training in Genomics Research program are currently not being accepted.  Please check back for updates.

Benefits

  • The TiGeR program will prepare its students for successful careers as computational experts in genomics research.
