A quick stop on our tour, we have a viewpoint opportunity on the Fletcher Lawn. Surrounded by the classroom buildings and the library, this place here is the perfect quad area for students. You’ll notice this sculpture [behind me], which was designed by Muriel Castanis, and entitled “Reading”. Sculpted from stone and bronze, “Reading” is made to resemble a woman looking into the future. Castanis was known for her work with metals and making them look fluid, so be sure to check out this lively piece!
