Dreamscape Learn at the ASU West Valley campus

An immersive learning experience

Experience Dreamscape April 22, 2026

Learning, reimagined

Education is no longer confined to rows of desks and static lectures. Beginning fall 2026, ASU West Valley students can step into fully immersive worlds.

Science will come alive.

Dreamscape Learn transforms foundational courses, like biology, chemistry, and astronomy into cinematic, story-driven experiences that place students at the center of the action.

Instead of observing science from a distance, students investigate it firsthand:

 Exploring complex ecosystems
 Solving urgent, unfolding challenges
Applying critical thinking in real time

The result is more than engagement; it's immersive learning designed to inspire confidence, ignite passion and redefine what is possible in the classroom.

What is Dreamscape Learn?

Dreamscape learn is like nothing you've ever experienced. Immersive virtual reality, cinematic storytelling and rigorous academic design transform university courses into active learning experiences. Expand the sections and watch the video to explore how it works.

Developed in collaboration with Dreamscape Immersive, Dreamscape Learn places students inside fully realized environments where they interact with complex ecosystems, unfamiliar species and unfolding scientific challenges.

Each experience is built around a narrative that creates urgency and emotional connection. Students are not just passive observers; they become investigators solving novel problems through observation, data collection and evidence-based reasoning.

In biology courses, students spend 15 minutes each week inside the virtual environment. After removing the headset, the storyline continues in a structured lab where they apply their discoveries to real-world analysis.

Dreamscape Learn is introduced in foundational courses where students are just beginning their academic journey. By engaging them early with immersive, hands-on problem solving, the experience helps build confidence, strengthen belonging in STEM fields and set the tone for long-term success.

Dreamscape Learn is not just exciting—it works
