Our Comparative Diaspora Studies core faculty members specialize in ethnographic and qualitative methods in conducting their research about and with diasporic communities. Scholars from any discipline interested in pursuing field-based research are welcome to contact our faculty.

Many students at ASU are the descendents of diasporic peoples and/or the members of resettled diasporic communities. The Comparative Diaspora Studies group supports activities and participation by these students to bridge diverse communities within and beyond academia.
