In our comprehensive English MA program, you will deepen your knowledge of the many facets of English, including its literatures, its linguistic, social, and cultural histories, and its capacity for social change. As a student in our MA program, you will also amplify your research and teaching skills by engaging with contemporary theory and by creating your own research project. Finally, in our MA program you will continue to develop your own unique voice—your capacities as a writer and editor—via your regular contact with scholars actively publishing in their respective fields.
Our hybrid program is designed for students who may be working full or part time, giving you flexibility as well as direct, face to face contact with research faculty.
