Lieutenant Colonel Paul A. Smiley Veterans Scholarship
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be a full time undergraduate student pursuing a major in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Preference will be given to a military veteran
- Must be enrolled at least a three-fourths of full-time enrollment
- Financial need is a factor

Linda Smiley Perseverance Award
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be a junior, a senior or a graduate student pursuing a major at the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must be enrolled at least a three-fourths of full-time enrollment
- Preference will be given to a single mother

Brandie C Curtis Memorial Scholarship
The donor’s preference is to provide support for Apollo High School (Glendale, AZ) graduates enrolled in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences or the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at ASU’s West Valley campus who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Served in Operation Enduring Freedom
- Is currently enrolled in ROTC
- Are active military
- Have participated in sports activities

Environmental Science Scholarship
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be an ASU undergraduate student with environmental science, sustainability, environmental engineering and environmental law majors
- Must meet a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
- Must be enrolled full time
- With high financial need

A2M Aviation Solutions Scholarship
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be a undergraduate student pursuing a major in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences
- Must be an Arizona resident
- No minimum GPA requirement
- Must be enrolled at any enrollment status
- Financial need is NOT a factor
- Preference will be given to a disabled veteran (preferably air force)
- Must write a 2 one page, double-spaced essay on “Why I need the scholarship”

Arizona Public Service (APS) Scholarship
Eligibility requirements:
- Students should be pursuing a baccalaureate degree at ASU West Valley in math, science, technology, applied computing or finance.
- Financial need is a factor
- Award half of annual amount each semester
- Minimum GPA required is 3.0
- Preferably students who are eligible for APS internships based on their career paths. For details, please visit, the APS internship program site.

Bernard Osher Reentry Scholarship
This scholarship is open to any non-traditional ASU undergraduate students who have experienced a gap in their education of more than five years. The five year gap does not need to be a single period of absence. However, the sum of the absent periods should be five years or more. Although no particular age range is required, the scholarship is intended to support a student who has entered the work force for an extended period, typically at least 15 years after completing their education. In the past, Osher Reentry Scholarship recipients have typically ranged in age from the mid-20s to the mid-50s. Students who are selected to receive a scholarship will be notified by mail to the address on file with ASU.
Eligibility requirements:

Must be enrolled part-time or full-time in any program at Arizona State University.

Must be pursuing their first baccalaureate degree.

Must be an adult reentry student.

Must show evidence of having had their undergraduate degree pursuit at two or four year institution interrupted for a gap of five years or more. The five year gap need not be a single period of absence. However, the sum of the absent periods should be five years or more. Upload this evidence as additional documentation and add a description listing the dates of five year or more break in your formal education.

If selected, awarded Bernard Osher Reentry scholars must be willing to participate in one focus group meeting in which they will be asked about their experiences as a reentry student at ASU and how the scholarship program could be improved.

This scholarship has a rolling deadline, but priority will be given to applications submitted before April 1, 2024.
TraIN - STEM Scholarship
Eligibility requirements:
- Seeking a degree in applied math or computing, statistics, biology, forensic or environmental sciences, and/or pharmacology/toxicology from the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences as the West Valley campus.
- Full-time transfer student
- GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Financial need based on FAFSA application
- Willingness to participate in program cohort and mentoring activities
- Willingness to participate in surveys and interviews with program researchers
Preferred Applicant Characteristics:
- Strong background in 100 and 200-level college math and science
- Interest in gaining research experience in one of the degree programs included in the TraIN program
- Student has at least one year left at ASU to complete their degree
