Student Life

The New College Student Experience

What you learn in the classroom is essential, of course. But college is more than academics alone, and at the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences at ASU, you will find a well-rounded, enriching adventure. Combining the benefits of a small liberal arts campus with the amenities of a top-tier research university, New College offers students the complete college experience.

Life on campus is designed to provide you with both academic support and social engagement — which together help define your four years here. New College students can live on-campus in ASU West residential halls, where they will establish lifelong friendships. They have access to student organizations, and events, and our 60,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center and dining facilities. And with New College’s focus on the 4-Year Experience, students build relationships with students, staff, faculty, mentors and receive ample support to help them maximize all four years.

The amenities of ASU’s West campus and the New College provide you with a dynamic environment and the support systems to help you feel confident in the classroom, engaged in extracurricular activities and connected to the campus and with your peers — so that when you graduate, you will reap the benefits of your academic achievements as well as your satisfaction with the entire college experience.
