New College Undergraduate Research and Creative Project Symposium
Arizona State University undergraduate students, community college and high school students and their mentors are invited to present their research and creative projects at this year's New College Undergraduate Research and Creative Projects Symposium.
Research projects will be in conference poster format. The event will feature a poster session, keynote address and award ceremony. Awards will be given to the top presented and non-presented posters or creative projects. Admission to the event is free.Schedule

ASU students, community college and high school students interested in presenting research and creative projects including, but not limited to, NCUIRE, individualized instruction, capstone experiences, etc.Poster Session Information
Students may drop off posters at FAB in the New College Dean's Office, front desk, room N301, West campus. Posters must be dropped-off by 10 a.m., April 18. Students who are unable to drop off their posters may do so from 8-10 a.m. on April 19 at the La Sala Ballrooms.
Following the symposium, students who are at the event may take down their posters at 5:30 p.m.Poster and Creative Project Guidelines
Posters may be up to 5x4 feet in size.
For students who wish to present projects in a digital format, you will be required to supply your own laptop and extension cord. Alternatively, students may send digital presentations formatted in PPT, MOV or MP4 to be displayed in a looping powerpoint or movie format with all students who submit digitally. If submissions are not in these formats, they will not be considered. All digital submissions must be received by April 5. A 10 minute maximum for digital submissions.

Posters and creative projects will be judged by ASU faculty from various disciplines from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on April 19. Judging times will vary and take place at random.
Students who wish to be judged on presented posters and projects must be at their posters during the judging period outlined above. All other posters and projects will be placed in the non-presented category.Awards
