On Saturday, October 21st, the 3rd annual Missing in Arizona Day took place at ASU’s West campus. The event was sponsored by the Maricopa and Pima County Sheriff’s Offices and also involved several other local partner agencies.

Over 200 people attended the event, including members of the Navajo Nation and other visitors from as far away as Los Angeles and Mexico. The goal of the event was to assist family members in locating relatives who had gone missing. Family members filed a missing persons report and also had the option of submitting photos and DNA swabs to both national and international databases in hopes of finding a match. The event was a huge success, with over 70 missing person reports processed throughout the day.
