Dr. Majia Nadesan, a professor of communication in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at New College, hosted an online event with more than 2 dozen attendees as they discussed the novel “All the Way to the Top: How One Girl's Fight for Americans with Disabilities Changed Everything."

Real-time flu reports with ASU’s #FluTracker
#FluTracker is a unique tool, created by Dr. Feng Wang and undergraduate ASU students to display real-time, Twitter-based flu surveillance that reports daily and weekly flu cases.
While this research focuses on general flu cases, “researchers say it has the potential to track the spread of specific strains of illness - such as COVID-19”. Learn more about #FluTracker and its importance during a pandemic.

Virtual Support Hour
Thank you to Dr. Breanne Fahs, a professor of women and gender studies at ASU New College, for creating a support hour where her current and former research assistants can meet online once a week to share resources for basic living (housing resources, grocery stuff), activism, reading, and is working together to feel less isolated.

Adjusting during a pandemic
During a pandemic, many of our normal routines have been forced to change and adjust. It’s not an easy task but thanks to faculty like Sharon Kirsch, students are able to open up about difficulties and receive adaptable deadlines and assignments based on individual needs.

West campus Game Studio goes virtual
Thanks to the quick and hard working effort from Dr. Theresa Devine, the West campus Game Creator Studio is now completely virtual and accessible via remote desktop.
