Presenters:
Majia Holmer Nadesan wrote the 2005
book, Constructing Autism and has
published many subsequent essays on
the bio-ethics of autism. She is the
mother of a teenage son diagnosed with
Asperger's Syndrome.
James B. Adams is the director of the
ASU Autism/Asperger's Research
Program, president of the Autism
Society of Greater Phoenix, and father
of a 21-year-old daughter with autism.
Maria V. Dixon, M.A., CCC-SLP is an Associate
Clinical Professor in the Department of Speech
and Hearing Sciences at Arizona State University.
Maria is the primary investigator for an ongoing
collaborative project focusing on the
effectiveness of an intervention using computers
on children with Asperger’s Syndrome in learning
aspects of conversational interaction.
