Study Abroad at Costa Rica: Central American Studies Program offers students an extraordinary intercultural immersion learning opportunity by combining an intensive language course and family home stays, with interdisciplinary study of Central America through social and behavioral science perspectives, ethnographic field study, and excursions around beautfiul tropical Costa Rica. The dynamic capital city of San Jose is the host site. Frequent excursions — including two weekend trips-enable students to observe and experience what they are studying.
New learning opportunities and the importance of understanding the beauty of cultural differences is what our Study Abroad programs offer to everyone.
