SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS

General Information

The New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences offers annual and endowed scholarships every year for students to help finance their education at Arizona State University. Awards range from $100 to $5,000 per semester and are based on a broad spectrum of criteria. Deadline for submission is October 12,2009. For direct questions call Diana Herrera at 602-543-7000

How to apply for scholarships?

    Wester Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) - apply for reduced tuition
  1. Review the criteria for each scholarship listed below before completing the application to be sure that you meet the requirements.
  2. Complete the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  3. Complete the General Scholarship Application for ASU which is optional - but suggested if you wish to be considered for university-wide scholarships through the Office of Scholarship.

Only one New College Scholarship Application form is used for all applicable New College scholarships and Campus wide scholarships available to New College majors. By completing the General Scholarship Application for ASU (which is optional), you will also be considered for university-wide scholarships administered by the Office of Scholarship.

The scholarship selection committee will review your application and if you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified via letter sent to the address you have on file with ASU.

FY 2009-10 PHOENIX WOMEN’S COMMISSION INTERN’L WOMEN’S DAY SCHOLARSHIP FOR RE-ENTRY WOMEN

  • Must be a female re-entry student or woman beginning or returning after having been out of H.S. for more than 3 years
  • Be admitted to ASUW undergrad program in the New College
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Be an Arizona/Phoenix resident & U.S. Citizen
  • Two letters of reference, personal statement (1 page limit) with application
  • Must have minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Renewable, but must reapply, qualify, and meet all award criteria.
  • Must attend yearly scholarship luncheon
