The Bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies enables students to design individualized programs of study in the liberal arts, develop critical thinking skills, and synthesize problem-solving strategies. It is an ideal degree for individuals who plan to work in business, cultural, educational, community and human-service settings.
The faculty and staff have been educated in the disciplines of art, astronomy, ethics, logic, history, mathematics, music, philosophy, photography, physics, psychology, social sciences and theology. Students complete a set of rigorous upper-division courses and a capstone internship in which they reflect upon their intellectual and personal pursuits in the context of a field experience. Students are encouraged to pursue additional internship experiences throughout their program of study.
The overall result is a classic liberal arts education with an opportunity to do in-depth-study with exceptional faculty members in areas of the student's interests.
