MAIS GRADUATE ADMISSION
Admission to the program is open to:
  • Holders of baccalaureate degrees from institutions with regional accreditation;
  • Those who show promise of success as demonstrated by previous schooling and experience;
  • Those who have career and academic goals that are compatible with the educational objectives of the program;
  • Those who have taken the GRE. This requirement may be waived if applicant has attended a graduate or professional school that required a standardized admissions test.
Admission Process
The Admissions & Scholarship Committee reviews each application. Candidates will be selected after consideration of undergraduate grade point average, academic and work experience, GRE or equivalent test scores, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and writing sample.

Application
The application deadline for Fall 2008 is June 1, 2008.
The application deadline for Spring 2009 is November 1, 2008.

The Division of Graduate Studies must receive two official transcripts from every university or institution attended before an application can be considered. Letters of recommendation must be sent to the MA in Interdisciplinary Studies office. The Personal Statement and Writing Sample should be submitted online. GRE scores should be sent to ASU. Transcripts should be sent to The Division of Graduate Studies Office.
