The College currently enrolls over 3000 students, who are drawn to the campus for the opportunity to learn in an intimate liberal arts setting while simultaneously enjoying all of the resources of a comprehensive research university.
ASU’s West campus, which houses colleges of liberal arts, education, and business, aspires to become a national leader in undergraduate education, providing student-centered, engaged learning. New College—the core college of the West campus—prepares an expanding and increasingly diverse student body to understand and address the significant challenges facing us in the 21st century by educating students through interdisciplinary curricula, service learning, and faculty-directed independent research. At its core, New College is defined by its academic rigor and student engagement where meaningful interaction between faculty and students enriches the learning environment and shapes the undergraduate experience.
