The New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University draws students who are eager for the opportunity to learn in an intimate liberal arts setting while enjoying the resources of a comprehensive research university.
New College prepares a genuinely diverse student body to understand and address the challenges of the 21st century by educating students through interdisciplinary curricula, service learning and faculty-directed independent research.
Faculty are appointed to schools within ASU’s New College—Interdisciplinary Forensics; Humanities, Arts, and Cultural Studies; Math and Natural Sciences; or Social and Behavioral Sciences—and have the opportunity to serve in New College graduate programs, as well as to apply for appointment to ASU’s specialty graduate faculties as well.
