Welcome to the Department of Integrative Studies

The IAS Department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Applied Ethics Studies, and a Bachelor of Applied Science.

Minors are available in Philosophy and Religious Studies.

Students have the opportunity to participate in faculty-student collaborative research projects, explore cross-cultural and global perspectives in their courses, access the latest computer technology for projects and assignments, and apply what they have learned in a variety of community-based internship sites across the Phoenix metropolitan area.

By working closely with their advisor, students develop programs of study to match their professional career or graduate school interests. Through a well-planned program of study, students acquire a foundation in critical thinking and writing skills, awareness of diverse intellectual and cultural perspectives, an in-depth preparation in their field of study, and skills in the use of technology. Such skills prepare students to be highly competitive when seeking advanced study in graduate school and/or professional career opportunities in business, governmental and nonprofit organizations.
