What is CALL?

CALL stands for the Communication Assessment and Learning Lab. We help students with public speaking and presentation skills.

Who is CALL open to?

CALL is open to students who are enrolled in one of the following classes:

• COM 100: Introduction to Human Communication
• COM 225: Public Speaking
• COM 259: Communication in Business and the Professions
• COM 394: Oral History and Story Telling

Features of CALL

All of our mentors are undergraduate students who have experience with public speaking.

We assist in multiple stages of the presentation process:

• Researching your topic
• Organizing your speech
• Non-verbal communication
• Visual aids
• Actual Presentation
• Speech anxiety
